This Privacy Policy explains what information Neetter (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to neetter.com and the Neetter apps. We’re a content-first platform — we do not sell your personal data.
We don’t sell your personal data. We share it only with:
We rely on third parties including OAuth providers (Google, Discord, Twitch, Apple), IGDB for game data, payment processors (Stripe, Apple, Google), analytics (PostHog), and advertising (Google AdSense on the web and Google AdMob in the apps). Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in (including a secure, httpOnly session cookie), security, basic analytics, and — on the free tier — advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Neetter is free to use, supported by ads. We show ads only to users on the free tier — Neetter Pro is ad-free. We use Google AdSense on the web and Google AdMob in our apps. These Google services may use cookies and device identifiers (including your advertising ID) to serve and measure ads, and — where permitted — to personalize them.
On iOS, we ask for your permission (App Tracking Transparency) before using your advertising identifier for personalized ads. If you decline, you’ll still see ads, but they won’t be personalized. You can see how Google uses this data at google.com/policies/technologies/partner-sites and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
You can edit your profile, and deactivate or permanently delete your account, from Settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data — contact us to exercise them.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data, except where we must retain it for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.
We protect your data with industry-standard measures — encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
Neetter isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we’ll remove it. For how we protect minors and handle child-safety reports, see our Child Safety Standards.
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
