fixed an issue where un/plugging a gamepad in while the game is running might crash the game disabled mouse hiding when gamepad input is detected in menus (some gamepads apparently send ghost inputs which was making the mouse almost unusable in menus for some players)

Fixed a couple of issues regarding the controls panel on the left side of the screen. It should now correctly show the most recently used device's inputs, rather than default to a gamepad if one is detected.

As of v1.4.0, the game is now content complete!
