Orbital Hell is an arcade bullet hell shooter played from a first-person perspective inside a concave, spherical environment where the horizon curves upward. The player's rotary cannon fires automatically, requiring players to aim, manage secondary abilities, and navigate swarms of incoming enemies approaching from all directions. Core movement mechanics center on aerial traversal, allowing players to bounce directly off enemy units to reset double jumps, maintain airtime, charge defensive shields, and build scoring combos. Offensive and defensive tools include charged piercing shots, speed boosts, and an orbital shield that clears surrounding targets upon ground takeoff. The game features two primary modes: Normal Mode, focusing on surviving escalating enemy waves and bosses with time-slowing pickups, and Boss Rush, an endurance gauntlet of consecutive boss encounters with timed interludes.
