Fixed a rare sign-in issue on the desktop client: if Steam took a moment to respond, launching the game could drop you into a temporary blank session instead of your real save. That case is now caught properly, with a clear retry message instead. A brand new install still always gets you into the game, even if Steam is briefly unreachable. If this ever happened to you: your original save was never...

SEPTEMBER 25, 2026 There is a third construction on the settlement map. The Reliquary is a bench, and the pitch on it is honest about what it is for: units keep coming out of the ground and out of the wrecks that still hum, and nobody on this station can make one run. Build the bench and you work out how. It rises through four stages you can watch on the map, bench frame, power rails, cradle, firs...

I was going to build a pub. Instead, one got found. The Cantina There is a new tab under Signals from Survivor 8: the Cantina. A stray signal, a pub much older than it has any right to be, crystal growing through the hull, bottles still full, nobody home. And in the corner stands an arcade cabinet that has no business still r...

The planet tore open in seven places. Time to go down. Anomaly Runs is out of beta and fully live - the biggest single update Lost Vessel has shipped. This has been months in the making, shaped directly by everyone who ran the beta and told me what felt right and what did not. Thank you. This one is yours too. What Anomaly Ru...

Hey guys, just added a quick update to the app to also include Safe-Mode for Lost Vessel. It disables hardware-GPU and renders software-side. This helps some very specific cases who otherwise have issues with the Chromium and Electron-wrapper. Thanks for playing Lost Vessel! Next content-update is close, too.

AUGUST 14, 2026 I.D.L.E. has left the room panel. If you have rebuilt him, he now floats over the station itself: drag him wherever you want him parked and he will hold that spot, bob in place, and keep you company while you work. He talks. He was always going to talk. He rambles on his own schedule, reacts to level-ups, forg...

Xenoarchaeology just doubled. I have opened four new dig sites, one under each of the zones the first survey never touched: the Network Sump, Debris Fall, the Fracture Verge, and the Hollow Floor, which is as far down as I have mapped and further than I would go alone. Twenty new artefacts are buried out there as a second ser...

AUGUST 11, 2026 An apology first For the last few days the game was quietly losing time it should have been keeping. If you left it running and came back, the away summary could tell you nothing had happened, and it was right, because nothing had been recorded. It was worst for anyone who walked away with the game open, which...

Hey guys, just a quick Steam App patch to address the Chromium / Electron wrap mishandling minimizing and idling on longer away-times. This has been an ongoing issue and this is just one part of the tech-side. Still fixing things on the server-side. If you are having issues, let me know in Discord and please report the specifics in the bug-channel - when you can. Thanks for playing!
