Peter Molyneux's 22Cans studio has suffered a round of layoffs. As first reported by GamesIndustry.biz, the Guildford studio made an undisclosed number of staff redundant recently. In a statement issued to Eurogamer, 22cans insisted development continues at the studio despite the layoffs. Read more

The grim tale of Godus s development seems to have gotten a lot grimmer. Lead developer Konrad Naszynski s contract expired shortly after the release of Godus Wars and wasn t renewed, 22cans confirm, and a source tells us there s no one left working on the game.
