As you may have noticed, the last few months we were busy getting our new game, Deck & Conn, released. As part of this process, we did a bunch of optimisations to the speed of the underlying game engine. This update is PRIMARILY that, along with a few other issues we found during D&C's development. VERSION 1.0.14 Changes: * Engine optimisations to assist with performance on lower speed machines * ...

Two small fixes this week - Fixed issue where 'you saw a monster' popup sometimes fired too early Fixed an issue which could have resulted in the sneak key being stuck down Up on the open beta branch now is a new build with some rendering optimisations for slower computers. (For the technically curious: it uses a heatmap calculating walkable distance for every tile in the level, from the entry stairs, counting only passable or destructable tiles or openable doors to ensure each down stairs can...

Another update with a few fixes this week. We've hardened the startup process to try and make it more resilient on first-launch when creating the game's dynamic state folders, and also fixed the perfect delve stat bug. As for the next little while, and future updates: 1.0.6 will fix a few dungeon generation bugs, and will be on the beta branch later on today. My plan is to keep these updates on th...

New version is up! Mostly some more fixes that needed working on, but we've also brought the knife in parity with the other melee weapons as being smeltable, constructable, etc. You can now find knife parts in the early dungeons. Thanks to everyone reporting bugs and giving feedback! Another note: we now have a public beta branch, for anyone wants to ensure they have the most bleeding-edge version...
